"On February 25th, my car was in an accident that damaged the front end and caused a new scratch and dent on the rear driver’s side. At Don Jacobs, a State Farm-approved shop, the estimator confirmed it was accident-related. After that, Don Jacobs refused to fix the car, and I had to tow it elsewhere, seemingly due to friction between State Farm and Don Jacobs after that estimate. Despite a revised police report and body cam evidence, State Farm refused to cover the rear damage. I’ve been insured since I was 16, and at 60, I’ve never filed a claim or a complaint—until now. They insisted I file a second claim, wasting my one-time forgiveness. I had to correct them that forgiveness follows the driver, not the car. This has caused immense stress. I just want the full coverage I’ve paid for, which they’ve refused."
